JR or our jounior herd bull, was a 2025 purchase. JR is rugged-made and immediately catches your eye in the pasture. He walks with confidence, and his genetic background give him the ability to back it up. His dam, Hefte Ranch F47, traces back to the extremely fertile, Harris Farms 37/8 cow, a foundation female in the Hefte program. JR brings longevity and productivity along with his fertility and consistency. JR’s sire Hefte Ranch F14 Tomcat is making his mark on the Santa Gertrudis world one monster calf at a time. JR weaned at 663 lbs and now brings style, substance and a proven maternal line. We are excited to see his first calf crop this fall.
