One of our originals… and one that’s not going anywhere!

Chevy has been part of this place from early on, and while she’s had her time raising calves, things didn’t go perfectly and she hasn’t bred back like the rest. At some point, it’s not about forcing it. It’s about knowing what you’ve got.

She’s as gentle as they come, easy to be around, and you can put her in just about any group and she settles them down. When it’s time to gather, she’s the first one to the buggy… and the rest follow her lead.

That alone makes her worth keeping around. If she breeds back, great. If not, she’s still earned her spot here. Not every cow stays because of production. Some stay because they’ve proven their value in other ways.
